Home is where your heart is…

Home is where your heart is… and my heart is with my family!

I testify the truth of this saying… I used to live in so many houses: I grew up in Agnita (Transylvania), I spent my youth and found my love in Cluj-Napoca, then I moved with her and my first kid in Brasov, where my second son was born. I lived alone in Philadelphia, U.S. for 11 months, in Groningen, Holland for 4, in Zurich, Switzerland 9 months, and now I live in Essen, Germany for 7 months already. So I don’t know where my house is, but for sure my home is with my family. And there is no better picture – although I didn’t have a professional or a fancy camera – than this one which is still my favorite, with my kid embracing the birds, the lake, the air, everything! When we were so happy because we were together, the entire family, and we could feed the birds, smile at the sun, and feel the joy of life. All I want is those moments to come back: that is my Home!

This is a photo I submitted on National Geographic, “yourshot” section, and it can be seen and probably voted there (click on the photo):
